Pipe Maintenance Services

Factory Pipe Tune Up ($50)

  1. Check bowl for mis-drilling. If airway too high correct with pipe mortar
  2. Check stummel airway and ensure that it is drilled to 5/32 inch (~ 4mm)
  3. Check stem tenon and funnel if needed
  4. Check airway drilling and if possible taper drill end airway at 5/32”
  5. Check and funnel the button end of the airway
  6. Polish funnel and airway

Light Clean ($30)

  1. Reaming tobacco chamber
  2. Cleaning airways
  3. Polish stem and stummel:
    • (white diamond & carnuba wax)

Deep Clean ($40) (Examples Here)

All of the light clean services plus:

  1. Ream airway
  2. Remove rim buildup
  3. Salt treatment and triple retort

Note: tooth chatter removal (if possible) or heavily oxidized or stained stems – add $10

Pipe Repair Services

Stem Replacement ($80)

Stems are hand cut from your choice of Ebonite or Acrylic Rod. For an example see: A Challenging Replacement Stem

Shank repair and banding ($80)

Cost includes repair of any cracks in the shank and installation of band in your choice of Sterling Silver, Brass, or Gold Plating. The cost of the band plus shipping will be added to the base $80 charge. For an example see: Banding a Cracked Shank

All pipes will be examine on arrival and a formal quote will be shared with the customer before work commences
