Branch Tampers $60 plus shipping
Branch Tamper are made from dried and seasoned branch wood. The wood has unique and beautiful character from the knotty branch points and bark inclusions. These are turned turned using a special closed end chucking system I developed that allows me to drill a cavity in one end to add weight and a custom turned brass tamp. The other end has exposed pith which is either filled with a brass rod or brass inlay. The finish on these is the same durable finish I use on my pens.

Cut Casing Tampers $40 plus shipping (Special $25 offer below)
This is a simpler tamper design that I am calling the cut casing style. In place of the custom brass tamp, a brass casing is used and is cut to better balance the look of the tamper. Cut casing tampers are weighted like the branch tampers, but these single wood designs are easier to turn and don’t require any inlay work so they can be priced more affordably. They still offer a weighted tamper feel and the same quality finish used on all my tampers and pens.

Cut Casing Tamper 1 is made from Pennsylvania Cherry. The tamper measures 3.5 inches and weighs 0.52 ounces with weight concentrated at the tamping end. The finish is the same as the others, but the color of the wood is a bit blotchy, so this is being offered at a discount from the standard $40 cost.
